The Holy Companions radiyallahu anhum are in fact the live versions of the sacred books of the Hadith and the Sunnah; their achievements are a just witness to their wisdom and modesty, justness, rectitude and piety. They were the earliest bearers of the religion and the Shari'ah (law) and it is through them that the religion and the Shari'ah have reached us. Although there is an abundance of proofs available in the Quran and the Hadith as regards these holy Companions' justness and sincerity, the irony is that even those people who feel no qualm in taunting and reproaching this sacred group are brassy enough to declare themselves to be the followers of Islam.
Allah Most High says:
"Allah hath pleasure in them and they have pleasure in Him" (XCVIII: 8).
The Holy Qur’an declares Allah's pleasure in them but the self-styled renovators of Islam, blindfolded as regards the holy Companions' eulogies and merits, have made them - Allah forbid! - The butt of reproach, objection and criticism!
The Holy Prophet's INCLUDEPICTURE "http://www.inter-islam.org/images/saw23X22.gif" \* MERGEFORMATINET statement was: "My Companions are like stars. Whomsoever from amongst them you follow, you will have acquired guidance." He also said: "As regards my Companions, fear Allah, fear Allah. Don't make them the target of reproach after me. So, whoever loves them, he would love them on account of his love for me, and whoever shows enmity towards them would do so on account of his being an enemy to me."
Another statement is: "The best of all periods is my period (i.e., the holy Companions' period); then of those people who are near to them (i.e. the tabi' in - the followers of the Companions), and then of those who are near to them (i.e. the Tab' a Tabi'in - the Followers-on)".
As regards the justness of the holy Companions' group, Imam Abu Zar'ah Razi writes: "When you notice someone is detracting people, from anyone of the Holy Prophet's INCLUDEPICTURE "http://www.inter-islam.org/images/saw23X22.gif" \* MERGEFORMATINET Companions, take it for granted that he is a zindiq (the criminal dissident); for the messenger is true, the Qur’an is true, and whatever the messenger has brought is true, and these facts were narrated to us by the holy Companions. But these criminal dissidents want to demolish our witnesses in order to falsify the Book and the Sunnah. Hence they are the more demolished (themselves).” (Fath al-Mughith, p.375).
Chapter 54: IT IS FORBIDDEN TO REVILE THE COMPANIONS OF THE HOLY PROPHET (MAY PEACE BE UPON HIM)
Book 031, Number 6167:
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Do not revile my Companions, do not revile my Companions. By Him in Whose Hand is my life, if one amongst you would have spent as much gold as Uhud it would not amount to as much as one much on behalf of one of them or half of it.
Book 031, Number 6168:
Abu Sa'id reported there was some altercation between Khalid b. Walid and Abd al-Rahman b. 'Auf and Khalid reviled him. Thereupon Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: None should revile my Companions. For if one amongst you were to spend as much gold as Uhud, it would not amount to as much as one mudd of one of them or half of it.
Sahih Muslim
The Prophet (S.A.W.) said, "Some men from my companions will come to my Lake-Fount and they will be driven away from it, and I will say, 'O Lord, my companions!' It will be said, 'You have no knowledge of what they innovated after you left: they turned apostate as renegades (reverted from Islam)."
Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 8. 586 Narrated by Ibn Al Musaiyab (R.A.)
The Prophet (S.A.W.) said, "Some of my companions will come to me at my Lake Fount, and after I recognize them, they will then be taken away from me, whereupon I will say, 'My companions!' Then it will be said, 'You do not know what they innovated (new things) in the religion after you.' "
Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 8. 584 Narrated by Anas (R.A.)
NOTE: In the light of these ahadith, is it not paramount to find out who these so called sahabas are who innovated in religion? Who are those sahabas who went astray and led others astray?
Are we not their fans and follow their foot steps blindly?
Volume 9, Book 93, Number 640:
Narrated 'Umar bin Al-Khattab:
I heard Hisham bin Hakim reciting Surat-al-Furqan during the lifetime of Allah's Apostle, I listened to his recitation and noticed that he was reciting in a way that Allah's Apostle had not taught me. I was about to jump over him while He was still in prayer, but I waited patiently and when he finished his prayer, I put my sheet round his neck (and pulled him) and said, "Who has taught you this Sura which I have heard you reciting?" Hisham said, "Allah's Apostle taught it to me." I said, "You are telling a lie, for he taught it to me in a way different from the way you have recited it!" Then I started leading (dragged) him to Allah's Apostle and said (to the Prophet), “I have heard this man reciting Surat-al-Furqan in a way that you have not taught me." The Prophet said: "(O 'Umar) release him! Recite, O Hisham." Hisham recited in the way I heard him reciting. Allah's Apostle said, "It was revealed like this." Then Allah's Apostle said, "Recite, O 'Umar!" I recited in the way he had taught me, whereupon he said, "It was revealed like this," and added, "The Quran has been revealed to be recited in seven different ways, so recite of it whichever is easy for you." (See Hadith No. 514, Vol. 6)
Sahih Bukhari
Note: What would one say about Umar mistreating a fellow sahaba of the Holy Prophet (pbuhf)?
It has been narrated on the authority of 'Abd al-Rahman b. Abd Rabb al-Ka'ba who said: I entered the mosque when 'Abdullah b. 'Amr b. al - 'As was sitting in the shade of the Ka'ba and the people had gathered around him. I betook myself to them and sat near him. (Now) Abdullah said: I accompanied the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) on a journey. We halted at a place. Some of us began to set right their tents, others began to compete with one another in shooting, and others began to graze their beasts, when an announcer of the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) announced that the people should gather together for prayer, so we gathered around the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him). He said: It was the duty of every Prophet that has gone before me to guide his followers to what he knew was good for them and warn them against what he knew was bad for them; but this Umma of yours has its days of peace and (security) in the beginning of its career, and in the last phase of its existence it will be afflicted with trials and with things disagreeable to you. (In this phase of the Umma), there will be tremendous trials one after the other, each making the previous one dwindle into insignificance. When they would be afflicted with a trial, the believer would say: This is going to bring about my destruction. When at (the trial) is over, they would be afflicted with another trial, and the believer would say: This surely is going to be my end. Whoever wishes to be delivered from the fire and enter the garden should die with faith in Allah and the Last Day and should treat the people as he wishes to be treated by them. He who swears allegiance to a Caliph should give him the pledge of his hand and the sincerity of his heart (i.e. submit to him both outwardly as well as inwardly). He should obey him to the best of his capacity. It another man comes forward (as a claimant to Caliphate), disputing his authority, they (the Muslims) should behead the latter. The narrator says: I came close to him ('Abdullah b. 'Amr b. al - 'As) and said to him: Can you say on oath that you heard it from the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him)? He pointed with his hands to his ears and his heart and said: My ears heard it and my mind retained it. I said to him: This cousin of yours, Mu'awiya, orders us to unjustly consume our wealth among ourselves and to kill one another, while Allah says: "O ye who believe, do not consume your wealth among yourselves unjustly, unless it be trade based on mutual agreement, and do not kill yourselves. Verily, God is Merciful to you" (iv. 29). The narrator says that (hearing this) Abdullah b. 'Amr b. al - As kept quiet for a while and then said: Obey him in so far as he is obedient to God; and disobey him in matters involving disobedience to God.
Book 20, Number 4547: (Muslim)
Note: Muawiya was a tyrant who called himself the successor of the Holy Prophet (pbuhf) and carried out extortionate injustice against the Ahlul-Bayt (a.s.) and their followers. And still his narrations are fit to find place in the “SAHIHS”. What would one say about his mistreatment against another sahaba and also his waging war against Imam Ali a.s. in the battle of Siffin in which so many innocent people were killed and wounded!
Volume 9, Book 92, Number 468:
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:
When the time of the death of the Prophet approached while there were some men in the house, and among them was 'Umar bin Al-Khatttab, the Prophet said, "Come near let me write for you a writing after which you will never go astray." 'Umar said, "The Prophet is seriously ill, and you have the Qur’an, so Allah's Book is sufficient for us." The people in the house differed and disputed. Some of them said, "Come near so that Allah's Apostle may write for you a writing after which you will not go astray," while some of them said what 'Umar said. When they made much noise and differed greatly before the Prophet, he said to them, "Go away and leave me." Ibn 'Abbas used to say, "It was a great disaster that their difference and noise prevented Allah's Apostle from writing that writing for them.
Sahih Bukhari
NOTE: The Prophet of Allah is on his death bed and asking for a paper and pen to write a will. Umar denied the Holy Prophet (pbuhf) paper and pen and said:
a). the Prophet was seriously ill (meaning he did not know what was he saying or doing (not in his right frame of mind).
b). Umar thought himself superior to the Messenger of Allah by saying that Qur’an is sufficient!
Didn’t the Holy Prophet himself know about this that Umar needed to say it?
What can one say of the so called sahabas with whom not only the Prophet of Allah was angry but also asked them to leave his house?
Is it surprising that Umar did not participate in the funeral of the Holy Prophet (pbuhf)? The blessed body of the Holy Prophet (pbuhf) was discarded and the so called sahabas got busy in ‘electing’ the successor of the Holy Prophet (pbuhf).
How can such sahabas and their associates be fit to lead the Ummah after his death and claim to be his successors?
What can one say of such Muslims who know these facts and still choose to turn a blind eye by saying ‘do not talk ill of the sahabas’?
Book 031, Number 5958:
Ibn 'Umar reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) sent an expedition and appointed Usama b. Zaid as its chief. The people objected to his command, whereupon Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) stood up and said: You object to his command and before this you objected to the command of his father (Zaid). By Allah, he was fit as the commander and he was one of the dearest of persons to me and after him, behold! this one (Usama) is one of the dearest of persons to me.
Book 031, Number 5959:
Salim reported on the authority of his father that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said on the pulpit: You object to the command of Usima b. Zaid as you had objected before to the command of his father (Zaid). By Allah, he was most competent for it and, by Allah, he was dearest to me amongst people and, by Allah, the same is the case with Usama b. Zaid. He is most dear to me after him and I advise you to treat him well for he is pious amongst you.
Sahih Muslim
Note: What have the Muslims got to say about the above mentioned hadith? Again the so called sahabas blatantly disobeyed the command of the Holy Prophet (pbuhf) and therefore offended him.
How is it possible to cover up all these facts and pretend as if everything was perfect and that the sahabas were like little angels to the Holy Prophet (pbuhf)? Can such people who agonized the prophet of Allah be fit to call themselves Muslims, or sahabas, let alone his successors?
From a contradictory point of view, the prophet Enlisted Abu-Bakr and Umar in Usama bin Zaids Army. how could Abu Bakr lead the prayer when he wasn't even supposed to be in the City... makes you wonder why did he stay and when was ordered to leave and the prophet had Cursed those who stayed behind from Usama’s Army.
The Messenger of Allah said: "May the curse of Allah be upon those who turn away from the army of Usamah" and he ordered the army to be dispatched immediately, and ordered all Helpers and all Immigrants except Ali to leave Medina. But some companions disobeyed and complained about the leadership of Usamah - See Sahih al-Bukhari, Arabic-English version, Tradition #5.552, 5.744 and 5.745) and they delayed in joining the camp, and finally returned to Medina, in order to prepare themselves for discussion about successor ship as soon as the Messenger of Allah passes away
DID THE PROPHET OF ALLAH KNOW THE HOLY QUR’AN THOROUGHLY WELL?
Volume 9, Book 93, Number 615:
Narrated Musa bin Abi 'Aisha:
Sa'id bin Jubair reported from Ibn 'Abbas (regarding the explanation of the Verse: 'Do not move your tongue concerning (the Qur'an) to make haste therewith). He said, "The Prophet used to undergo great difficulty in receiving the Divine Inspiration and used to move his lips.' Ibn 'Abbas said (to Sa'id), "I move them (my lips) as Allah's Apostle used to move his lips." And Said said (to me), "I move my lips as I saw Ibn 'Abbas moving his lips," and then he moved his lips. So Allah revealed:--
'(O Muhammad!) Do not move your tongue concerning (the Qur'an) to make haste therewith. It is for Us to collect it and give you (O Muhammad) the ability to recite it. (i.e., to collect it in your chest and then you recite it).' (75.16-17) But when We have recited it, to you (O Muhammad through Gabriel) then follow you its recital.' (75.18) This means, "You should listen to it and keep quiet and then it is upon Us to make you recite it."
The narrator added, "So Allah's Apostle used to listen whenever Gabriel came to him, and when Gabriel left, the Prophet would recite the Qur'an as Gabriel had recited it to him."
Sahih Bukhari
Volume 8, Book 75, Number 347:
Narrated 'Aisha:
The Prophet heard a man reciting (the Qur'an) in the mosque. He said," May Allah bestow His Mercy on him, as he made me remember such and-such Verse which I had missed in such-and-such Sura."
Sahih Bukhari
NOTE: If the Holy Prophet (pbuhf) did not know the Holy Qur’an, then what was he trying to read? What is 75:18 referring to?
THE PROPHET OF ALLAH FALLS VICTIM OF WITCH CRAFT!
Volume 8, Book 75, Number 400:
Narrated 'Aisha:
that Allah's Apostle was affected by magic, so much that he used to think that he had done something which in fact, he did not do, and he invoked his Lord (for a remedy). Then (one day) he said, "O 'Aisha!) Do you know that Allah has advised me as to the problem I consulted Him about?" 'Aisha said, "O Allah's Apostle! What's that?" He said, "Two men came to me and one of them sat at my head and the other at my feet, and one of them asked his companion, 'What is wrong with this man?' The latter replied, 'He is under the effect of magic.' The former asked, 'Who has worked magic on him?' The latter replied, 'Labid bin Al-A'sam.' The former asked, 'With what did he work the magic?' The latter replied, 'With a comb and the hair, which are stuck to the comb, and the skin of pollen of a date-palm tree.' The former asked, 'Where is that?' The latter replied, 'It is in Dharwan.' Dharwan was a well in the dwelling place of the (tribe of) Bani Zuraiq. Allah's Apostle went to that well and returned to 'Aisha, saying, 'By Allah, the water (of the well) was as red as the infusion of Hinna, (1) and the date-palm trees look like the heads of devils.' 'Aisha added, Allah's Apostle came to me and informed me about the well. I asked the Prophet, 'O Allah's Apostle, why didn't you take out the skin of pollen?' He said, 'As for me, Allah has cured me and I hated to draw the attention of the people to such evil (which they might learn and harm others with).' "
Narrated Hisham's father: 'Aisha said, "Allah's Apostle was bewitched, so he invoked Allah repeatedly requesting Him to cure him from that magic)." Hisham then narrated the above narration. (See Hadith No. 658, Vol. 7)

Volume 9, Book 93, Number 479:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet said, "On the Day of Resurrection Allah will hold the whole earth and fold the heaven with His right hand and say, 'I am the King: where are the kings of the earth?"
Volume 9, Book 93, Number 509:
Narrated Ibn 'Umar:
Allah's Apostle said, "On the Day of Resurrection, Allah will grasp the whole Earth by His Hand, and all the Heavens in His right, and then He will say, 'I am the King." Abu Huraira said, "Allah's Apostle said," Allah will grasp the Earth...' "
Volume 9, Book 93, Number 510:
Narrated 'Abdullah:
A Jew came to the Prophet and said, "O Muhammad! Allah will hold the heavens on a Finger, and the mountains on a Finger, and the trees on a Finger, and all the creation on a Finger, and then He will say, 'I am the King.' “On that Allah's Apostle smiled till his premolar teeth became visible, and then recited:--
'No just estimate have they made of Allah such as due to him.... (39.67) 'Abdullah added: Allah's Apostle smiled (at the Jew's statement) expressing his wonder and believe in what was said.
Sahih Bukhari
Volume 9, Book 93, Number 481:
Narrated Anas:
The Prophet said, "(The people will be thrown into Hell (Fire) and it will keep on saying, 'Is there any more?' till the Lord of the worlds puts His Foot over it, whereupon its different sides will come close to each other, and it will say, 'Qad! Qad! (enough! enough!) By Your 'Izzat (Honor and Power) and YOUR KARAM (Generosity)!' Paradise will remain spacious enough to accommodate more people until Allah will create some more people and let them dwell in the superfluous space of Paradise. "
Volume 9, Book 93, Number 541:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet said, "Paradise and Hell (Fire) quarreled in the presence of their Lord. Paradise said, 'O Lord! What is wrong with me that only the poor and humble people enter me?' Hell (Fire) said, I have been favored with the arrogant people.' So Allah said to Paradise, 'You are My Mercy,' and said to Hell, 'You are My Punishment which I inflict upon whom I wish, and I shall fill both of you.'" The Prophet added, "As for Paradise, (it will be filled with good people) because Allah does not wrong any of His created things, and He creates for Hell (Fire) whomever He will, and they will be thrown into it, and it will say thrice, 'Is there any more, till Allah (will put) His Foot over it and it will become full and its sides will come close to each other and it will say, 'Qat! AISHA, JEALOUS OF BIBI KHADIJA (A.S.)
I never felt so jealous of any woman as I felt of Khadija, for Allah ordered him (the Prophet) to give Khadija the glad tidings of a palace in Paradise (for her).
Volume 9, Book 93, Number 588:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet said that Gabriel said, "Here is Khadija coming to you with a dish of food or a tumbler containing something to drink. Convey to her a greeting from her Lord (Allah) and give her the glad tidings that she will have a palace in Paradise built of Qasab wherein there will be neither any noise nor any fatigue (trouble)." (See Hadith No. 168, Vol. 5)
Note: This lady (Hazrat Khadija) is such a companion and wife of the Holy Prophet (pbuhf) whom Allah has praised in His Holy Book (the Holy Qur’an).
AISHA’S HATRED AGAINST IMAM ALI (A.S.)
Volume 1, Book 11, Number 634:
Narrated 'Aisha:
"When the Prophet became seriously ill and his disease became aggravated he asked for permission from his wives to be nursed in my house and he was allowed. He came out with the help of two men and his legs were dragging on the ground. He was between Al-Abbas and another man."
'Ubaid Ullah said, "I told Ibn 'Abbas what 'Aisha had narrated and he said, 'Do you know who was the (second) man whose name 'Aisha did not mention'" I said, 'No.' Ibn 'Abbas said, 'He was 'Ali Ibn Abi Talib.' "
Sahih Bukhari
Volume 4, Book 53, Number 336:
Narrated 'Abdullah:
The Prophet stood up and delivered a sermon, and pointing to 'Aisha's house (i.e. eastwards), he said thrice, "Affliction (will appear from) here," and, "from where the side of the Satan's head comes out (i.e. from the East)."
Sahih Bukhari
Note: It was the same Aisha who waged war against Ali a.s. who was the son-in-law of the Holy Prophet (pbuhf) and the Lady Khadija, the brother of the Holy Prophet (P) and the Caliph of the Muslims at the time. Can one expect to see or hear anything good from her regarding Hazrat Ali or Lady Khadija (peace and blessings of Allah be upon them)? Is it any surprising to see the father of Ali a.s., Hazrat Abu Talib branded as a kafir?
VILIFYING THE PROPHETS OF ALLAH
Volume 9, Book 93, Number 585:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet said, "Once while Job (Aiyub) was taking a bath in a naked state. Suddenly a great number of gold locusts started falling upon him and he started collecting them in his clothes. His Lord called him, 'O Job! Didn't I make you rich enough to dispense with what you see now?' Job said, 'Yes, O Lord! But I cannot dispense with Your Blessings
Sahih Bukhari
Volume 4, Book 55, Number 616:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Apostle said, "(The Prophet) Moses was a shy person and used to cover his body completely because of his extensive shyness. One of the children of Israel hurt him by saying, 'He covers his body in this way only because of some defect in his skin, either leprosy or scrotal hernia, or he has some other defect.' Allah wished to clear Moses of what they said about him, so one day while Moses was in seclusion, he took off his clothes and put them on a stone and started taking a bath. When he had finished the bath, he moved towards his clothes so as to take them, but the stone took his clothes and fled; Moses picked up his stick and ran after the stone saying, 'O stone! Give me my garment!' Till he reached a group of Bani Israel who saw him naked then, and found him the best of what Allah had created, and Allah cleared him of what they had accused him of. The stone stopped there and Moses took and put his garment on and started hitting the stone with his stick. By Allah, the stone still has some traces of the hitting, three, four or five marks. This was what Allah refers to in His Saying: -- "O you who believe! Be you not like those Who annoyed Moses, But Allah proved his innocence of that which they alleged, And he was honorable In Allah's Sight." (33.69)

Volume 4, Book 55, Number 578:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Abraham did not tell a lie except on three occasions.* Twice for the Sake of Allah when he said, "I am sick," and he said, "(I have not done this but) the big idol has done it." The (third was) that while Abraham and Sarah (his wife) were going (on a journey) they passed by (the territory of) a tyrant. Someone said to the tyrant, "This man (i.e. Abraham) is accompanied by a very charming lady." So, he sent for Abraham and asked him about Sarah saying, "Who is this lady?" Abraham said, "She is my sister." Abraham went to Sarah and said, "O Sarah! There are no believers on the surface of the earth except you and I. This man asked me about you and I have told him that you are my sister, so don't contradict my statement." The tyrant then called Sarah and when she went to him, he tried to take hold of her with his hand, but (his hand got stiff and) he was confounded. He asked Sarah. "Pray to Allah for me, and I shall not harm you." So Sarah asked Allah to cure him and he got cured. He tried to take hold of her for the second time, but (his hand got as stiff as or stiffer than before and) was more confounded. He again requested Sarah, "Pray to Allah for me, and I will not harm you." Sarah asked Allah again and he became alright. He then called one of his guards (who had brought her) and said, "You have not brought me a human being but have brought me a devil." The tyrant then gave Hajar as a girl-servant to Sarah. Sarah came back (to Abraham) while he was praying. Abraham, gesturing with his hand, asked, "What has happened?" She replied, "Allah has spoiled the evil plot of the infidel (or immoral person) and gave me Hajar for service." (Abu Huraira then addressed his listeners saying, "That (Hajar) was your mother, O Bani Ma-is-Sama (i.e. the Arabs, the descendants of Ishmael, Hajar's son)."

Volume 4, Book 55, Number 581:
Narrated Abu Huraira: One day some meat was given to the Prophet and he said, "On the Day of Resurrection Allah will gather all the first and the last (people) in one plain, and the voice of the announcer will reach all of them, and one will be able to see them all, and the sun will come closer to them." (The narrator then mentioned the narration of intercession): "The people will go to Abraham and say: 'You are Allah's Prophet and His Khalil on the earth. Will you intercede for us with your Lord?' Abraham will then remember his lies and say: 'Myself! Myself! Go to Moses."

What can one say of these “Sahihs”, their authors and the narrators who have quoted such kind of allegations against those closest to Allah?
Volume 4, Book 55, Number 607:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Apostle said, "On the night of my Ascension to Heaven, I saw (the prophet) Moses who was a thin person with lank hair, looking like one of the men of the tribe of Shanua; and I saw Jesus who was of average height with red face as if he had just come out of a bathroom. And I resemble prophet Abraham more than any of his offspring does. Then I was given two cups, one containing milk and the other wine. Gabriel said, 'Drink whichever you like.' I took the milk and drank it. Gabriel said, 'You have accepted what is natural, (True Religion i.e. Islam) and if you had taken the wine, your followers would have gone astray.' "

The delegates of 'Abdul Qais came to Allah's Apostle and said, "The pagans of the tribe of Mudar intervene between you and us therefore we cannot come to you except in the Holy months. So please order us to do something good (Religious deeds) by which we may enter Paradise (by acting on them) and we may inform our people whom we have left behind to observe it." The Prophet said, "I order you to do four things and forbid you from four things: I order you to believe in Allah. Do you know what is meant by belief in Allah? It is to testify that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah, to offer prayers perfectly, to give Zakat, and to give Al-Khumus (one-fifth of the war booty) (in Allah's Cause). And I forbid you four things, (i.e., Do not drink alcoholic drinks) Ad-Dubba, An-Naqir, (pitched water skins), Az-Zuruf, Al-Muzaffat and Al--Hantam (names of utensils used for the preparation of alcoholic drinks)." Section: The Order to Be In Wudu (When Touching the Qur'an)
Book 15, Number 15.1.1:
Yahya related to me from Malik from Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr ibn Hazm that in a letter that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, sent to Amr ibn Hazm it said that no-one should touch the Qur'an unless he was pure.
Malik said, "No-one should carry the Qur'an by its strap, or on a cushion, unless he is pure. If it were permissible to do so, it would also have been permissible to carry it in its cover. This is not because there is something on the hands of the one who carries it by which the Qur'an will be soiled, but because it is disapproved of for someone to carry the Qur'an without being pure out of respect for the Qur'an, and in order to honour it."
Malik said, "The best thing that I have heard about this is the ayat 'None touch it except the purified.' (Sura 56 ayat 79) It ranks with the ayat in Surat Abasa (Sura 80), where Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, says, 'No, it is a reminder, and whoever wishes will remember it. Upon honoured pages, exalted and purified, by the hands of scribes, noble and obedient.' "
Section: Permission to Recite the Qur'an When Not in Wudu

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ayyub ibn Abi Tamima as-Sakhtayani from Muhammad ibn Sirin that Umar ibn al-Khattab was with some people who were reciting Qur'an. He went to relieve himself and then came back and recited Qur'an. One of the men said to him, "Amir al muminin, are you reciting the Qur'an without being in wudu?" Umar replied, "Who gave you a verdict on this? Was it Musaylima?"'

While in menses, I used to comb the hair of Allah's Apostle.
S.B.
Note: Can the prophet of Allah be such lowest of the low? Can they be Muslims who talk this kind of language for the noblest of all the prophets? What kind of image are these “Sahihs” trying to give us about the Messenger of Allah? What can one say about the mentality and hatred (against the Prophet Muhammad) of those who have narrated, written and quoted in their so called “Sahihs”?
What justice can be expected of such people in relation to the Household of the Holy Prophet (pbuhf)?
Chapter 3: MERITS OF UTHAMN B. 'AFFAN (ALLAH BE PLEASED WITH HIM)
Book 031, Number 5906:
A'isha reported: Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) was lying in the bed in my apartment with his thigh or his shank uncovered that Abu Bakr sought permission to get in. It was given to him and he conversed in the same very state (the Prophet's thigh or shank uncovered). Then 'Umar sought permission for getting in and it was given to him and he conversed in that very state. Then 'Uthman sought permission for getting in; Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) sat down and he set right his clothes. Mubammad (one of the narrators) said: I do not say that it happened on the same day. He ('Uthman) then entered and conversed and as he went out, A'isha said: Abu Bakr entered aind you did not stir and did not observe much care (in arranging your clothes), then 'Umar entered and you did not stir and did not arrange your clothes, then 'Uthman entered and you got up and set your clothes right, thereupon he said: Should I not show modesty to one whom even the Angels show modesty.
Book 031, Number 5907:
A'isha, the wife of Allah's Apostle (mav peace be upon him), and Uthman both reported that Abu Bakr sought permission from Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) for entrance (in his apartment) as he had been lying on his bed covered with the bed-sheet of A'isha, and he gave permission to Abu Bakr in that very state and he, having his need fulfilled, went back. Then Umar sought permission and it was given to him in that very state and, after having his need fulfilled, he went back. And 'Uthman reported: Then I sought permission from him and he got up and raid to A'isha: Wrap yourself well with your cloth, then I got my need fulfilled and came back. And A'isha said: Allah's Messenger, why is it that I did not see you feeling any anxiety in case of dressing properly in the presence of Abu Bakr and 'Umar (Allah be pleased with them) as you showed in case of 'Uthman. Thereupon Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: Verily Uthman is a person who is very modest and I was afraid that if I permitted him to enter in this very state he would not inform me of his need.
Book 20, Number 3134:
Narrated Ali ibn AbuTalib:
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Do not unveil your thigh, and do not look at the thigh of the living and the dead.
Sunan Abu Dawud
Note: Uthman is portrayed as better than the Holy Prophet (pbuhf). Think the way the prophet of Allah is portrayed here. What happened to the modesty of Rasoolullah himself? If this is not vilifying the Holy Prophet (pbuhf) and showing Uthman better than the Messenger of Allah, then what else is it?
The Sahihs are overflowing with ahadith in praise of the first three Khalifs while almost nothing in praise of Ali. Still worse, look at the kind of things that are mentioned about the Prophet of Allah! Bearing Allah as your witness, would you read out such things in front of your daughters, sisters and mothers?
If such things were written by anti-Muslims, how would you react? And do you expect to get a true image of Islam through such books of ahadith, their narrators and their authors?
What happened to the ahadith taught by the Ahlul-Bayt a.s. whom the Holy Prophet entrusted us together with the Book of Allah?
Volume 1, Book 11, Number 613:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Once iqama was pronounced and the people had straightened the rows, Allah's Apostle went forward (to lead the prayer) but he was Junub, so he said, "Remain in your places." And he went out, took a bath and returned with water trickling from his head. Then he led the prayer.
Volume 1, Book 11, Number 612:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Apostle went out (of the mosque) when the Iqama had been pronounced and the rows straightened. The Prophet stood at his Musalla (praying place) and we waited for the Prophet to begin the prayer with Takbir. He left and asked us to remain in our places. We kept on standing till the Prophet returned and the water was trickling from his head for he had taken a bath (of Janaba).
Sahih Bukhari
Chapter 12: HOW TO CLEANSE ONESELF AFTER RELIEVING ONESELF
Book 002, Number 0504:
Salman reported that it was said to him: Your Apostle (may peace be upon him) teaches you about everything, even about excrement. He replied: Yes, he has forbidden us to face the Qibla at the time of excretion or urination, or cleansing with right hand or with less than three pebbles, or with dung or bone.
Sahih Muslim.
Book 002, Number 0507:
Abu Ayyub reported: The Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: Whenever you go to the desert, neither turn your face nor turn your back towards the Qibla while answering the call of nature, but face towards the east or the west. Abu Ayyub said: When we came to Syria we found that the latrines already built there were facing towards the Qibla. We turned our faces away from them and begged forgiveness of the Lord. He said: Yes.
Book 002, Number 0510:
Abdullah b. Umar said: I went up to the roof of the house of my sister Hafsa and saw the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) relieving himself facing Syria with his back to the Qibla. Sahih Muslim
Book 002, Number 0522:
Hudhaifa reported: I was with the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) when he came to the dumping ground of filth belonging to a particular tribe. He urinated while standing and I went aside. He (the Holy Prophet) asked me to come near him and I went so near to him that I stood behind his heels. He then performed ablution and wiped over his socks.
Book 002, Number 0523:
Abu Wa'il reported: Abu Musa inflicted extreme rigour upon himself in the matter of urination and urinated in a bottle and said: When the skin of anyone amongst the people of Israel was besmeared with urine, he cut that portion with a cutter. Hudhaifa said: I wish that your friend should not inflict such an extreme rigour. I and the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) were going together till we reached the dumping ground of filth behind an enclosure. He stood up as one among you would stand up and he urinated, I tried to turn away from him, but he beckoned to me, so I went to him and I stood behind him, till he had relieved himself.
S.M.
NOTE: Think very carefully with hand on your heart and bearing Allah as your witness, can these people who fabricated, narrated, quoted and written such garbage against the Messenger of Allah be fit to call themselves Muslims, let alone sahabas?
There were so many munafiqeen around the Holy Prophet (pbuhf) that a whole sura was revealed under this title. Where did all these hypocrites disappear after the sad demise of the Holy Prophet (pbuhf)?

He said 'What is the matter with you? Have you got your menses?' I replied, 'Yes.' He said, 'This is a thing which Allah has ordained for the daughters of Adam. So do what all the pilgrims do with the exception of the Tawaf (Circumambulation) round the Ka'ba." 'Aisha added, "Allah's Apostle sacrificed cows on behalf of his wives."
Volume 1, Book 6, Number 294:
Narrated 'Aisha:
While in menses, I used to comb the hair of Allah's Apostle.
Volume 1, Book 6, Number 295:
Narrated 'Urwa:
A person asked me, "Can a woman in menses serve me? And can a Junub woman come close to me?" I replied, "All this is easy for me. All of them can serve me, and there is no harm for any other person to do the same. 'Aisha told me that she used to comb the hair of Allah's Apostle while she was in her menses, and he was in Itikaf (in the mosque). He would bring his head near her in her room and she would comb his hair, while she used to be in her menses."
Volume 1, Book 6, Number 296:
Narrated 'Aisha:
The Prophet used to lean on my lap and recite Qur'an while I was in menses.
Volume 1, Book 6, Number 297:
Narrated Um Salama:
While I was laying with the Prophet under a single woolen sheet, I got the menses. I slipped away and put on the clothes for menses. He said, "Have you got "Nifas" (menses)?" I replied, "Yes." He then called me and made me lie with him under the same sheet.
Volume 1, Book 6, Number 298:
Narrated 'Aisha:
The Prophet and I used to take a bath from a single pot while we were Junub. During the menses, he used to order me to put on an Izar (dress worn below the waist) and used to fondle me. While in Itikaf, he used to bring his head near me and I would wash it while I used to be in my periods (menses).
Volume 1, Book 6, Number 299:
Narrated 'Abdur-Rahman bin Al-Aswad:
(on the authority of his father) 'Aisha said: "Whenever Allah's Apostle wanted to fondle anyone of us during her periods (menses), he used to order her to put on an Izar and start fondling her." 'Aisha added, "None of you could control his sexual desires as the Prophet could."
Volume 1, Book 6, Number 300:
Narrated Maimuna:
Whenever Allah's Apostle wanted to fondle any of his wives during the periods (menses), he used to ask her to wear an Izar.
Volume 1, Book 8, Number 379:
Narrated Abu Salama:
'Aisha the wife of the Prophet said, "I used to sleep in front of Allah's Apostle and my legs were opposite his Qibla and in prostration he pushed my legs and I withdrew then and when he stood, I stretched them.' 'Aisha added, "In those days the houses were without lights."
Volume 1, Book 8, Number 380:

Volume 1, Book 8, Number 376:
Narrates 'Abdullah bin Shaddad:
Maimuna said, "Allah's Apostle was praying while I was in my menses, sitting beside him and sometimes his clothes would touch me during his prostration." Maimuna added, "He prayed on a Khumra (a small mat sufficient just for the face and the hands while prostrating during prayers).
NOTE: With hand on your heart and bearing Allah as your witness, do you seriously think that this is true Islam? What justice if at all will these people do to Islam, the Messenger of Allah, his Household, the interpretation of the Holy Qur’an, the Shariah, etc.?
By the way why do not Muslims use Khumra when according to this hadith it had been the holy Prophet’s sunnah?
Is it surprising to see books like “The Satanic Verses” coming into existence as a result of such malicious hadith against the Holy Prophet of Islam?
Chapter 9: THEE MERITS OF THE FAMILY OF THE PROPHET (MAY PEACE BE UPON HIM)
Book 031, Number 5955:
'A'isha reported that Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) went out one morning wearing a striped cloak of the black camel's hair that there came Hasan b. 'Ali. He wrapped him under it, then came Husain and he wrapped him under it along with the other one (Hasan). Then came Fatima and he took her under it, then came 'Ali and he also took him under it and then said: Allah only desires to take away any uncleanliness from you, O people of the household, and purify you (thorough purifying)*
* This is referring to the Holy Qur’an 33:33
QUR’AN AND THE AHLUL-BAYT A.S.
Book 031, Number 5920:
Yazid b. Hayyan reported, I went along with Husain b. Sabra and 'Umar b. Muslim to Zaid b. Arqam and, as we sat by his side, Husain said to him: Zaid. you have been able to acquire a great virtue that you saw Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) listened to his talk, fought by his side in (different) battles, offered prayer behind me. Zaid, you have in fact earned a great virtue. Zaid, narrate to us what you heard from Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him). He said: I have grown old and have almost spent my age and I have forgotten some of the things which I remembered in connection with Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him), so accept whatever I narrate to you, and which I do not narrate do not compel me to do that. He then said: One day Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) stood up to deliver sermon at a watering place known as Khumm situated between Mecca and Medina. He praised Allah, extolled Him and delivered the sermon and. exhorted (us) and said: Now to our purpose. O people, I am a human being. I am about to receive a messenger (the angel of death) from my Lord and I, in response to Allah's call, (would bid good-bye to you), but I am leaving among you two weighty things: the one being the Book of Allah in which there is right guidance and light, so hold fast to the Book of Allah and adhere to it. He exhorted (us) (to hold fast) to the Book of Allah and then said: The second are the members of my household I remind you (of your duties) to the members of my family. He (Husain) said to Zaid: Who are the members of his household? Aren't his wives the members of his family? Thereupon he said: His wives are the members of his family (but here) the members of his family are those for whom acceptance of Zakat is forbidden. And he said: Who are they? Thereupon he said: 'Ali and the offspring of 'Ali, 'Aqil and the offspring of 'Aqil and the offspring of Ja'far and the offspring of 'Abbas. Husain said: These are those for whom the acceptance of Zakat is forbidden. Zaid said: Yes.
Book 031, Number 5921:
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Zaid b. Arqam through another chain of transmitters.
Book 031, Number 5922:
This hadith has been transmitted on the authority of Abu Hayyan but with this addition:" The Book of Allah contains right guidance, the light, and whoever adheres to it and holds it fast, he is upon right guidance and whosoever deviates from it goes astray.
Yazid b. Hayyan reported: We went to him (Zaid b. Arqam) and said to him. You have found goodness (for you had the honour) to live in the company of Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) and offered prayer behind him, and the rest of the hadith is the same but with this variation of wording that lie said: Behold, for I am leaving amongst you two weighty things, one of which is the Book of Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, and that is the rope of Allah. He who holds it fast would be on right guidance and he who abandons it would be in error, and in this (hadith) these words are also found: We said: Who are amongst the members of the household? Aren't the wives (of the Holy Prophet) included amongst the members of his house hold? Thereupon he said: No, by Allah, a woman lives with a man (as his wife) for a certain period; he then divorces her and she goes back to her parents and to her people; the members of his household include his ownself and his kith and kin (who are related to him by blood) and for him the acceptance of Zakat is prohibited.
Book 031, Number 6000:
Miswar b. Makhramah reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Fatima is a part of me. He in fact tortures me who tortures her.
Volume 1, Book 3, Number 114:
Narrated 'Ubaidullah bin 'Abdullah:
Ibn 'Abbas said, "When the ailment of the Prophet became worse, he said, 'Bring for me (writing) paper and I will write for you a statement after which you will not go astray.' But 'Umar said, 'The Prophet is seriously ill, and we have got Allah's Book with us and that is sufficient for us.' But the companions of the Prophet differed about this and there was a hue and cry. On that the Prophet said to them, 'Go away (and leave me alone). It is not right that you should quarrel in front of me." Ibn 'Abbas came out saying, "It was most unfortunate (a great disaster) that Allah's Apostle was prevented from writing that statement for them because of their disagreement and noise. (Note: It is apparent from this Hadith that Ibn 'Abbas had witnessed the event and came out saying this statement. The truth is not so, for Ibn 'Abbas used to say this statement on narrating the Hadith and he had not witnessed the event personally. See Fath Al-Bari Vol. 1, p.220 footnote.) (See Hadith No. 228, Vol. 4).
Note: What can one say about the so called sahaba (who also became his future successor) who annoyed the Prophet of Allah to such an extent that the Holy Prophet (pbuhf) asked them to leave his house! What sort of sahabas were they who denied the Holy Prophet a paper and pen!
Note: The Prophet of Islam asked for a paper and pen to write something so that the Muslims would not go astray. The Prophet also mentioned in one of his hadith that, “I am leaving two most heavy things behind me; one is the Book of Allah and the other is my Ahlul-Bayt. So long as you holdfast these two together, you will not go astray.” The fact that Umar said that the Book of Allah is sufficient and thus denied paper and pen to the Holy Prophet, shows that he had already speculated what the Messenger of Allah was going to write. He demonstrated his rejection towards the Ahlul-Bayt and therefore rushed into electing Abu Bakr before the Muslims turned to Hadhrat Ali a.s. to give their baiyat.
THE RIGHTFUL KHALIFS
It has been reported on the authority of Jabir b. Samura who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) say: The affairs of the people will continue to be conducted (well) as long as they are governed by twelve men. Then the Holy Prophet (may peace be upon him) said words which were obscure to me. I asked my father: What did the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) say? He said: All of the (twelve men) will be from the Quraish.
Book 20, Number 4479: (Muslim)
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Jabir b. Samura through another chain of transmitters.
Book 20, Number 4480: (Muslim)
It has been narrated on the authority of Jabir b. Samura who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) say: Islam will continue to be triumphant until there have been twelve Caliphs. Then the Holy Prophet (may peace be upon him) said something which I could not understand. I asked my father: What did he say? He said: He has said that all of them (twelve Caliphs) will be from the Quraish.
Book 20, Number 4481: (Muslim)
Note: Who are these twelve caliphs and who are their followers in the present day? It is only the Shia Ithna-Asheris who believe in twelve Imams, all of whom were Quraish and Banu Hashim. The first Imam is Ali Ibn Abi Talib a.s. and the other eleven Imams are direct descendants of Ali and Fatema (peace and blessings of Allah be upon them all). Though there are twelve Imams, but there is no difference in their namaz, fasting, hajj or any fundamental beliefs of Islamic practices, unlike other Muslim sects. This is what the Messenger of Allah meant when he said that he was leaving two weighty things amongst us Muslims, the Holy Qur’an and his Ahlul-Bayt a.s.
Chapter 4: THE MERITS OF 'ALI B. ABI TALIB (ALLAH BE PLEASED WITH HIM)
Book 031, Number 5913:
Amir b Sa'd b. Abi Waqqas reporte (l on the authority of his father that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) addressing 'All said: You are in the same position with relation to me as Aaron- (Harun) was in relation to Moses but with (this explicit difference) that there is no prophet after me. Sa'd said: I had an earnest desire to hear it directly from Sa'd, so I met him and narrated to him what (his son) Amir had narrated to me, whereupon he said: Yes, I did hear it. I said: Did you hear it yourself? Thereupon he placed his fingers upon his ears and said: Yes, and if not, let both my ears become deaf.
Book 031, Number 5914:
Sa'd b. Abi Waqqas reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) left 'Ali b. Abi Talib behind him (as he proceeded) to the expedition of Tabuk, whereupon he ('Ali) said: Allah's Messenger, are you leaving me behind amongst women and children? Thereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: Aren't you satisfied with being unto me what Aaron was unto Moses but with this exception that there would be no prophet after me.
Book 031, Number 5915:
This hadith has been narrated. on the authority of Shu'ba with the same chain of transmitters. Amir b. Sa'd b. Abi Waqqas reported on the authority of his father that Muawiya b. Abi Sufyin appointed Sa'd as the Governor and said: What prevents you from abusing Abu Turab (Hadrat 'Ali), whereupon be said: It is because of three things which I remember Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) having said about him that I would not abuse him and even if I find one of those three things for me, it would be more dear to me than the red camels. I heard Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) say about 'Ali as he left behind him in one of his campaigns (that was Tabuk). 'All said to him: Allah's Messenger, you leave me behind along with women and children. Thereupon Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said to him: Aren't you satisfied with being unto me what Aaron was unto Moses but with this exception that there is no prophethood after me. And I (also) heard him say on the Day of Khaibar: I would certainly give this standard to a person who loves Allah and his Messenger and Allah and his Messenger love him too. He (the narrator) said: We have been anxiously waiting for it, when he (the Holy Prophet) said: Call 'Ali. He was called and his eyes were inflamed. He applied saliva to his eyes and handed over the standard to him, and Allah gave him victory. (The third occasion is this) when the (following) verse was revealed:" Let us summon our children and your children." Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) called 'Ali, Fatima, Hasan and Husain and said: O Allah, they are my family.
S.M.
Note: What can one say of such people who abuse and curse Ali a.s.? Ali about whom the Holy Prophet (pbuhf) had so much respect, and still enjoy the title of sahabas!
Volume 9, Book 93, Number 601:
Narrated Ma'bad bin Hilal Al'Anzi:
We, i.e., some people from Basra gathered and went to Anas bin Malik, and we went in company with Thabit Al-Bunnani so that he might ask him about the Hadith of Intercession on our behalf. Behold, Anas was in his palace, and our arrival coincided with his Duha prayer. We asked permission to enter and he admitted us while he was sitting on his bed. We said to Thabit, "Do not ask him about anything else first but the Hadith of Intercession." He said, "O Abu Hamza! There are your brethren from Basra coming to ask you about the Hadith of Intercession." Anas then said, "Muhammad talked to us saying, 'On the Day of Resurrection the people will surge with each other like waves, and then they will come to Adam and say, 'Please intercede for us with your Lord.' He will say, 'I am not fit for that but you'd better go to Abraham as he is the Khalil of the Beneficent.' They will go to Abraham and he will say, 'I am not fit for that, but you'd better go to Moses as he is the one to whom Allah spoke directly.' So they will go to Moses and he will say, 'I am not fit for that, but you'd better go to Jesus as he is a soul created by Allah and His Word.' (Be: And it was) they will go to Jesus and he will say, 'I am not fit for that, but you'd better go to Muhammad.'
They would come to me and I would say, 'I am for that.' Then I will ask for my Lord's permission, and it will be given, and then He will inspire me to praise Him with such praises as I do not know now. So I will praise Him with those praises and will fall down, prostrate before Him. Then it will be said, 'O Muhammad, raise your head and speak, for you will be listened to; and ask, for your will be granted (your request); and intercede, for your intercession will be accepted.' I will say, 'O Lord, my followers! My followers!' And then it will be said, 'Go and take out of Hell (Fire) all those who have faith in their hearts, equal to the weight of a barley grain.' I will go and do so and return to praise Him with the same praises, and fall down (prostrate) before Him. Then it will be said, 'O Muhammad, raise your head and speak, for you will be listened to, and ask, for you will be granted (your request); and intercede, for your intercession will be accepted.' I will say, 'O Lord, my followers! My followers!' It will be said, 'Go and take out of it all those who have faith in their hearts equal to the weight of a small ant or a mustard seed.' I will go and do so and return to praise Him with the same praises, and fall down in prostration before Him. It will be said, 'O, Muhammad, raise your head and speak, for you will be listened to, and ask, for you will be granted (your request); and intercede, for your intercession will be accepted.' I will say, 'O Lord, my followers!' Then He will say, 'Go and take out (all those) in whose hearts there is faith even to the lightest, lightest mustard seed. (Take them) out of the Fire.' I will go and do so."
Sahih Bukhari
Volume 9, Book 93, Number 564:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
"A man from the Muslims and a man from the Jews quarreled, and the Muslim said, "By Him Who gave superiority to Muhammad over all the people!" The Jew said, "By Him Who gave superiority to Moses over all the people!' On that the Muslim lifted his hand and slapped the Jew. The Jew went to Allah's Apostle and informed him of all that had happened between him and the Muslim. The Prophet said, "Do not give me superiority over Moses, for the people will fall unconscious on the Day of Resurrection, I will be the first to regain consciousness and behold, Moses will be standing there, holding the side of the Throne. I will not know whether he has been one of those who have fallen unconscious and then regained consciousness before me, or if he has been one of those exempted by Allah (from falling unconscious)." Volume 4, Book 55, Number 625:
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:
The Prophet said, "No slave (of Allah) should say that I am better than Yunus bin Matta." So the Prophet mentioned his father's name with his name.

Volume 4, Book 55, Number 653:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet said, "Jesus, seeing a man stealing, asked him, 'Did you steal? He said, 'No, by Allah, except Whom there is None who has the right to be worshipped' Jesus said, 'I believe in Allah and suspect my eyes."

Note: If such is the attitude of the Messengers of Allah, then what is the difference between them and us and also what authority can they have over their followers?
Book 4, Number 4.1.2:
Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "I forget or I am made to forget so that I may establish the sunna."

Once the Iqama was pronounced and Allah's Apostle faced us and said, "Straighten your rows and stand closer together, for I see you from behind my back.'
Note: What sort of prophet was he who could see from behind but could not keep track of his rakaats or remember the verses of Qur’an!
THE HOLY QUR’AN
Volume 6, Book 61, Number 537:
Narrated 'Abdul 'Aziz bin Rufai':
Shaddad bin Ma'qil and I entered upon Ibn 'Abbas. Shaddad bin Ma'qil asked him, "Did the Prophet leave anything (besides the Qur'an)?" He replied. "He did not leave anything except what is Between the two bindings (of the Qur'an)." Then we visited Muhammad bin Al-Hanafiyya and asked him (the same question). He replied, "The Prophet did not leave except what is between the bindings (of the Qur'an)."

Volume 6, Book 61, Number 509:
Narrated Zaid bin Thabit:
Abu Bakr As-Siddiq sent for me when the people! of Yamama had been killed (i.e., a number of the Prophet's Companions who fought against Musailama). (I went to him) and found 'Umar bin Al-Khattab sitting with him. Abu Bakr then said (to me), "Umar has come to me and said: "Casualties were heavy among the Qurra' of the! Qur'an (i.e. those who knew the Quran by heart) on the day of the Battle of Yalmama, and I am afraid that more heavy casualties may take place among the Qurra' on other battlefields, whereby a large part of the Qur'an may be lost. Therefore I suggest, you (Abu Bakr) order that the Qur'an be collected." I said to 'Umar, "How can you do something which Allah's Apostle did not do?" 'Umar said, "By Allah, that is a good project. ”Umar kept on urging me to accept his proposal till Allah opened my chest for it and I began to realize the good in the idea which 'Umar had realized." Then Abu Bakr said (to me). 'You are a wise young man and we do not have any suspicion about you, and you used to write the Divine Inspiration for Allah's Apostle. So you should search for (the fragmentary scripts of) the Qur'an and collect it in one book)." By Allah If they had ordered me to shift one of the mountains, it would not have been heavier for me than this ordering me to collect the Qur'an. Then I said to Abu Bakr, "How will you do something which Allah's Apostle did not do?" Abu Bakr replied, "By Allah, it is a good project." Abu Bakr kept on urging me to accept his idea until Allah opened my chest for what He had opened the chests of Abu Bakr and 'Umar. So I started looking for the Qur'an and collecting it from (what was written on) palmed stalks, thin white stones and also from the men who knew it by heart, till I found the last Verse of Surat At-Tauba (Repentance) with Abi Khuzaima Al-Ansari, and I did not find it with anybody other than him. The Verse is:
'Verily there has come unto you an Apostle (Muhammad) from amongst yourselves. It grieves him that you should receive any injury or difficulty (till the end of Surat-Baraa' (At-Tauba) (9.128-129) Then the complete manuscripts (copy) of the Qur'an remained with Abu Bakr till he died, then with 'Umar till the end of his life, and then with Hafsa, the daughter of 'Umar.

Volume 6, Book 61, Number 515:
Narrated Yusuf bin Mahk:
While I was with Aisha, the mother of the Believers, a person from Iraq came and asked, "What type of shroud is the best?" 'Aisha said, "May Allah be merciful to you! What does it matter?" He said, "O mother of the Believers! Show me (the copy of) your Qur'an," She said, "Why?" He said, "In order to compile and arrange the Qur'an according to it, for people recite it with its Suras not in proper order." 'Aisha said, "What does it matter which part of it you read first? (Be informed) that the first thing that was revealed thereof was a Sura from Al-Mufassal, and in it was mentioned Paradise and the Fire. When the people embraced Islam, the Verses regarding legal and illegal things were revealed. If the first thing to be revealed was: 'Do not drink alcoholic drinks.' people would have said, 'We will never leave alcoholic drinks,' and if there had been revealed, 'Do not commit illegal sexual intercourse, 'they would have said, 'We will never give up illegal sexual intercourse.' While I was a young girl of playing age, the following Verse was revealed in Mecca to Muhammad: 'Nay! But the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter.' (54.46) Sura Al-Baqara (The Cow) and Surat An-Nisa (The Women) were revealed while I was with him." Then 'Aisha took out the copy of the Qur'an for the man and dictated to him the Verses of the Suras (in their proper order).
Note: It is said that Uthman, the third Caliph compiled the Holy Qur’an. Having seen these hadithes, one wonders what the truth of the matter is and what is falsehood and who’s responsible for propagating falsehood.
Volume 6, Book 61, Number 580:
Narrated Abdullah:
The Prophet said, "Recite (and study) the Qur'an as long as you agree about its interpretation, but if you have any difference of opinion (as regards to its interpretation and meaning) then you should stop reciting it (for the time being)."
Volume 6, Book 61, Number 581:
Narrated Jundub:
The Prophet said, "Recite (and study) the Qur’an as long as you agree about its interpretation, but when you have any difference of opinion (as regards its interpretation and meaning) then you should stop reciting it (for the time being)'
S.B.
Note: Is it possible for Allah to reveal the Holy Qur’an and the Holy Prophet (pbuhf) to leave this world without indicating who the true interpreters of the Holy Qur’an were? Didn’t the Holy Prophet (pbuhf) mention about two weighty things, the Book of Allah and his Ahlul-Bayt a.s. for the guidance of the Muslims?
Volume 1, Book 8, Number 378:
Narrated Maimuna:
Allah's Apostle used to pray on Khumra.
S.B.
Note: The Shia Ithna-Asheri are the people who are performing sajda the way the Holy Prophet (pbuhf) used to perform.
Volume1, Book 8, Number 385u:
Narrated 'Abdullah bin Malik:
Ibn Buhaina, "When the Prophet prayed, he used to separate his arms from his body so widely that the whiteness of his armpits was visible."
Note: The Shias pray their namaz with their arms open.
Volume 1, Book 8, Number 389:
Narrated 'Amr bin Dmar:
I asked Ibn 'Umar, "Can a person who has performed the Tawaf around the Ka'ba for 'Umra but has not performed the (Sa'i) Tawaf of Safa and Marwa, have a sexual relation with his wife?" Ibn 'Umar replied "When the Prophet reached Mecca he performed the Tawaf around the Ka'ba (circumambulated it seven times) and offered a two-Rak'at prayer (at the place) behind the station (of Abraham) and then performed the Tawaf (Sa'i) of Safa and Marwa, and verily in Allah's Apostle you have a good example." Then we put the same question to Jabir bin 'Abdullah and he too replied, "He should not go near his wife (for sexual relation) till he has finished the Tawaf of Safa and Marwa." (Sahih Bukhari)
Salaat al-Tarawih During the Period of the Rightly-Guided Khulafa (TWENTY RAKAATS)
Hazrat Yazeed Ibn Ruman (radhiallahu anhu) narrates that during the khilaafah of Hazrat Umar (radhiallahu anhu) the Sahaabah used to perform twenty rakaats tarawih and three rakaats witr salaah (with jamaat). [Muwwatta Imaam Maalik, chapter concerning standing in salaah during Ramadhaan]
During the khilafah of Abu Bakr (radhiallahu anhu) tarawih with jamaat was not in vogue. The practice of performing twenty rakaats with jamaat in every night of Ramadhaan and the completion of the entire Quraan began only during the the khilaafat of Hazrat Umar (radhiallahu anhu). All the Sahaabah present had agreed upon this practice. From then onwards including the Khilafah of both Hazrat Uthmaan and Hazrat Ali (radhiallahu anhu) upto this day the Muslim Ummah (at large) has followed this practice.
Twenty rakaats tarawih is also performed in both the Masjids of Makkah and Madinah upto the present time. However, it is tragic that in recent times a group of people have conflicted with the consensus of the Sahaabah (radhiallahu anhum) and the rest of the Ummah with regards to the number of rakaats in Tarawih salaah.
Note: Who authorized Umar to introduce this change in the Sharia. And where did this buck stop? How can one be sure that those who followed him did not alter/introduce new things in Islam and therefore invented new things in the name of Islam?
Volume 1, Book 3, Number 121:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
I have memorized two kinds of knowledge from Allah's Apostle. I have propagated one of them to you and if I propagated the second, then my pharynx (throat) would be cut (i.e. killed).
S.B.
Note: One wonders what sort of knowledge was it that Abu Huraira feared and what was the benefit in granting him such knowledge in the first place anyway? Is it that he had benefited better materially by fabricating countless hadith and therefore pleased his “MASTERS”? What difference would have it made if he disclosed what was in his heart and mind? Is it that he would have missed out on the ‘goodies’ which he acquired otherwise?
Volume 1, Book 3, Number 106:
Narrated 'Ali:
The Prophet said, "Do not tell a lie against me for whoever tells a lie against me (intentionally) then he will surely enter the Hell-fire."
S.B.
S.B. Means Sahih Bukhari
S.M. Means Sahih Muslim.
HAZRAT AYESHA AND HAZRAT HAFSA
It is commonly known that this Ayah was revealed for Ayesha and Hafsa.
"If you BOTH turn to Allah, then indeed your hearts are already inclined (to this); and if you back up each other against him, then surely Allah it is Who is his Guardian, and Jibreel and -the believers that do good, and the angels after that are the aiders. (66:4)
Then the next verse says:
"Maybe, his Lord, if he divorce you, will give him in your place wives better than you, submissive, faithful, obedient, penitent, adorers, fasters, widows and virgins." (66:5)
If you read the blue, Allah is saying that he will replace Ayesha and Hafsa with wives better than them. The qualities of those BETTER WIVES are given in the red as:
1) Submissive
2) Faithful
3) Obedient
4) Penitent
5) Adorers/Devout
6) Fasters
If Ayesha and Hafsa were already inclined to such things, then there was no reason for Allah to mention these are qualities of the wives that He would replace them with.

True position of Sahaba
The Sahaba (Radhiallaahu Anhum) are that eminent group of people concerning whom Allah Taala has declared His eternal blessings in the indomitable words of the Qur’an. Therefore, any individual who challenges and casts aspersions concerning the position of a Sahabi has in fact challenged Allah’s decree in the Qur’an.
Abdullah Ibn Umar (Radhiallaahu Anhu) declares concerning the Sahaba: “He who wishes to follow anyone, let him follow the companions of Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam). They were the best and most prestigious of this Ummah. Their hearts were the purest; their knowledge the most profound; and they had the least formality about them (their humility was such that anyone could approach them). They were a nation whom Allah Ta’ala selected and chose for the companionship of His Nabi (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) and for the propagation of His Deen. Imitate their characters and follow their way of life, for I swear on oath by the Lord of the Ka’bah; the companions of Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) were truly on the straight path.” (Hilya).
Special Virtues
Whilst the collective favours of the Sahaba upon this Ummah are innumerable, some individual Sahaaba clearly excelled in their services of the Ummah. Amongst these noteworthy Sahaaba was Hadrath Muawiya (Radhiallaahu Anhu) whose prestige and position in the eyes of Prophet (Pbuh) (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) was such that he was amongst those Sahaaba to whom the delicate and tremendous taste of writing down wahi (divine revelation of the Qur’an) was entrusted. This special duty also necessitated his being regularly in the service of Prophet (Pbuh) (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam), thus enabling his personality and character to be developed directly at the hands of the noble master (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) himself.
Such was the love Prophet (Pbuh) (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) had for him that he was given the following beautiful and concise Dua by Prophet (Pbuh) (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam): ‘O Allah! Make Muawiya (Radhiallaahu Anhu) a means of hidaayat and make him one who is himself on hidaayat and give people hidaayat through him.’ (Zawaaid)
On another occasion Prophet (Pbuh) (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) said, ‘Allah! Guide him with guidance from yourself, save him from any disgrace and forgive all his past and future sins.’ (Tabrani).
Prophet (Pbuh) (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) even made Dua for the knowledge of Muawiya (Radhiallaahu Anhu) where he said, ‘O Allah endow Muawiya with the special knowledge of the Qur’an and save him from punishment.’ (Ahmad; Tabrani).
Muawiya (Radhiallaahu Anhu) was even privileged to be the brother-in-law of Prophet (Pbuh) (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) since Umme Habiba (Radhiallaahu Anha), the sister of Muawiya, was one of Prophet (Pbuh) (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam)’s wives. Once Prophet (Pbuh) (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) came home to find Muawiya (Radhiallaahu Anhu) with his sister. He asked her whether she loved him. To this Umme Habiba (Radhiallaahu Anhu) declared that he was her brother and therefore she definitely loved him. It was then that Muawiya (Radhiallaahu Anhu) received tremendous glad tidings from Prophet (Pbuh) (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam), where he said, ‘Allah and His Rasul definitely love Muawiya.’ (Tabrani).
Prophecy of Leadership
Such was the confidence which Prophet (Pbuh) (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) had in the leadership qualities and trustworthiness of Muawiya (Radhiallaahu Anhu) that once when Prophet (Pbuh) (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) once consulted with Abu Bakr (Radhiallaahu Anhu) and Umar (Radhiallaahu Anhu) regarding a certain matter and they were unable to give a suitable suggestion. Prophet (Pbuh) (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) sent for Muawiya (Radhiallaahu Anhu) saying: ‘Consult Muawiya (Radhiallahu Anhu) in your affairs since he is trustworthy and reliable.’ (Tabrani, Bazzaar)
The confidence which Nabi (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) had in him was of such a level that he even made Dua: ‘O Allah endow him with the knowledge of the Qur’an and grant him leadership of the lands.’ (Tabrani)
This Hadith in essence represents the prophecy of Prophet (Pbuh) (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) with regards to Muawiya (Radhiallaahu Anhu) gaining leadership. Similar confidence was exhibited by none other than Umar (Radhiallaahu Anhu) whose stringent requirements for governorship are well known. He appointed Muawiya governor, in which position he remained throughout the life of Umar (Radhiallaahu Anhu) as well as that of Usman (Radhiallaahu Anhu). Umar’s (Radhiallaahu Anhu) perception of character was tremendous and it was he who said: ‘You praise the rulers of Persia and Rome and speak highly of their knowledge, whereas you have in your midst a man like Muawiya (Radhiallaahu Anhu)’.
Hafiz Ibn Katheer (R. A.) reports that none other than Ali (Radhiallaahu Anhu) said after the Battle of Siffin: ‘O people, do not hate or talk ill of the leadership of Muawiya (Radhiallaahu Anhu), for if you lose him it would be such a tragedy as if you see your limbs falling from your bodies’. The books of history are replete with such praises of Muawiya (Radhiallaahu Anhu) from other Sahaaba (Radhiallaahu Anhum).
Auf Ibn Malik (Radhiallaahu Anhu) says: ‘Once whilst sleeping in a masjid in Areeha, I awoke suddenly to notice a lion coming towards me. I lunged for my weapon. The lion addressed me saying that he had been sent to deliver a message. I inquired as to who had sent him. The lion replied that Allah had sent him to instruct me to inform Muawiya (Radhiallaahu Anhu) that he was of the people of Jannat’ (Tabrani).
In fact it is reported in Bukhari Shareef that Prophet (Pbuh) (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) said: ‘The first army that will fight a naval battle in my Ummah will have made Jannat compulsory on themselves.’ The first naval force was in fact headed by Muawiya (Radhiallaahu Anhu) during the Caliphate of Usman (Radhiallaahu Anhu).
Evil Propaganda
In the light of the above, who can possibly doubt the benevolent position of Muawiya (Radhiallaahu Anhu), yet we find that he is amongst those personalities that have become the target of evil propaganda. This propaganda has its roots in the difference of opinion that arose between Muawiya (Radhiallaahu Anhu) and Ali (Radhiallaahu Anhu). We have to understand that, on both sides there were eminent Sahaba, all of whom motivated by a sincere belief of the truth of their cause. In such matters it is best that we hold our tongues. Of benefit in this context is the following quotation from ‘Shifa’ by Qaadhi Iyaad:
If we claim to revere and honour the prophet (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam), we must also respect his Sahaba. As Muslims, it is incumbent on us to appreciate that we owe them, to follow them and to ask forgiveness of Allah for them. No doubt they had their differences but we have no right to comment on them. We must beware of the stories forged by Shia’s, innovators and biased historians, whose mischievous motive is to slander some of the Sahaaba and slight the others. We must never doubt the sincerity and honesty of Sahaaba. When we come across any event in history which appears likely to lower their status in our eyes, we must explain it as far as we can in their favour and attribute it to sincere motives, for they really deserve this line of action. We should always speak of their virtues and must hold our tongues in uttering anything likely to slight them. The Prophet (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) himself has said: ‘Observe silence in respect of my Sahaba (when they are mentioned with disrespect).’
Ayyub Sakhtiani says: ‘Whosoever honours Sahaba, can never be a munafiq. Whosoever reviles them, he is surely an innovator or Munafiq or anti Sunnat. No good action of such person, I am afraid, will be accepted by Allah until he cleans his heart of their spite, and begins to love all of them.
May Allah Taala grant us the true love of the Sahaba.

Muharram and Aashura
Muharram is the first month of the Islamic, Hijrah calendar. It is one of the four sanctified months about which Allah Ta’ala says, ‘The number of months in the sight of Allah are twelve (in a year) - So ordained by Him the day He created the heavens and the earth; Of them four are sacred: That is the right religion. So wrong not yourselves therein.’ (Surah Taubah).
The four months, according to authentic Hadith, are the months of Zil-Qa‘dah, Zil Hijjah, Muharram and Rajab. The sanctity of these four months was observed in the Shari’ah of all the Ambiyaa (Prophets) (AS).
Allah Ta’ala made them (i.e. the four months) sacred and increased their sanctity. Hence declared a sin therein more severe and increased the virtue of good deeds and (also) the reward thereof.’ (Ibn Katheer).
The Ulama have stated that the actions performed in these months have an effect on what a person does in the remaining months of the year.
The Month of Muharram
The best of fasts besides the month of Ramadan is the fast during Allah’s month of Muharram and the best of Salats besides the Fardh (obligatory Salaat) is the Tahajjud Salah (performed after midnight). (Sahih Muslim).
The day of Aashura (10th of Muharram) The tenth of Muharram, known as the day of Aashura, is a very significant day in the Islamic calendar. Prophet (Pbuh) has exhorted the Ummah to fast on this day. Hadrath Aaisha (RA) reports that the Prophet (Pbuh) ordered the observance of the fast of Aashura. However, when the fast of Ramadan became compulsory, Prophet (Pbuh) left the fast of Aashura (i.e. the compulsion). Thereafter, whosoever desired kept this fast and whosoever desired, (not to keep it) did not observe this fast’. (Sahih Bukhari, Vol 1).
Hadrath Ibn Abbaas (RA) says, ‘I did not see Rasulullah (SAW) anxiously await the fast of any day, which he gave preference to over other days, but this day (of Aashura) and the month of Ramadan (Sahih Bukhari, Vol. 1).
Virtue of the Fast of Aashura
With regard to the blessing of this fast, Prophet (Pbuh) was asked regarding it’s virtue. He answered, ‘It is a compensation for the sins of the past year.’ i.e. the sins of one year that has just gone by will be forgiven. (Sahih Muslim, Vol. 1). Only minor sins are forgiven. For the forgiveness of major sins, Tauwbah is a prerequisite.
The Fast of Aashura
Hadrath Ibn Abbaas (RA) narrates that when Prophet (Pbuh) came to Madinah and found the Jews fasting on the day of Aashura, he inquired, ‘What is the significance of this day on which you fast?’ They replied, ‘This is the day Allah saved Prophet (Pbuh) and his followers and drowned Fir’oun and his army, thus Moosa (AS) fasted on this day as a token of thanksgiving. Therefore we too fast on this day.’ (Sahih Muslim, Vol 1). Rasulullah (SAW) said, ‘We are more worthy of Moosa (AS) and nearer to him than you.’ Thereafter, he fasted on this day and ordered the Sahaba to fast on this day. (Sahih Muslim, Vol. 1) Rasulullah (SAW) is reported to have said, ‘Observe the fast of Aashura and oppose (the way of) the Jews. Fast a day before it (also) or a day after it.’ (Baihaqi, Vol4) Hence, one should fast for two days: Either the 9th and 10th or the 10th and 11th. To fast only on the 10th of Muharram is MAKROOH (reprehensible) and bears semblance to the Jews.
Generosity to One’s Family
Besides fasting on the day of Aashura, being generous to one’s family and spending more than what is normally spent on food, etc. is an act of great merit. It is mentioned in a Hadith, ‘He who will be generous to his family on the day of Aashura, Allah will be generous to him for the entire year.’
Fallacious Belief
The day of Aashura is regarded by many people as the day of mourning the martyrdom of Sayyidina Hussain (RA). To attribute the significance of Aashura to Sayyidina Hussain (RA)’s martyrdom is totally baseless because the sanctity of Aashura is proven, beyond doubt, from the time of Rasulullah (SAW), whilst Sayyidina Hussain (RA) was martyred fifty years after Prophet (Pbuh) left this earthly abode. The fact that the martyrdom of Sayyidina Hussain (RA) occurred on the Day of Aashura has absolutely no bearing on the significance of this day nor is the sanctity of this day derived from this event. On the contrary, it is one of the merits of Sayyidina Hussain (RA) that he was martyred on the Day of Aashura.
Respect what Allah has honoured, for verily to honour things due to virtue which Allah has accorded them is among the traits of the intelligent.

Madhabs
If you look around you, you'll see that wherever you go, Muslims have different views on things. for example, we'll see that people who follow tha Hanafi Madhab will not raise their hands before they go into Ruku position, whereas the people who follow the Shafi Madhab will raise their hands before going into Ruku, you'll also see differences in the way Witre Salah is prayed and Ameen is said loudly or not according to the particular madhab people follow. There are many different ways Muslims do things, even in such a basic prerequisite as Salah. The four main madhabs, namely, Hanafi, Shafi, Maliki and Hanbali are all correct as all Muslims will agree. If you look at the lives of these Great Imams (may Allah reward them for all that they have done for Islam) then you'll realise that they themselves were accepting of the differences and never argued about them. We see people nowadays that say that if you are a Hanafi then you cannot pray behind a Shafi or vice versa, this belief comes from ignorance and narrow mindedness, when we know that The Imams themselves did not approve of this kind of thing! We should not follow Islam blindly but should always seek the truth through the Qur'an and Sunnah and the early pious predecessors.
Following any of these Madhabs is obviously following correct teachings, but to follow them blindly is not the correct way to follow them. The Great, yet humble Imams (humble in the sense that they never considered themselves above each other or above the teachings of Allah and his Noble Prophet (Sallallahu 'alaihe wa sallam). If you look at the lives of the Imams, they never said "Follow my doctrines, never deviate from them", on the contrary, they were so humble and Pious and full of the love for Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala and His Messenger Muhammed Mustafa (Sallallahu 'alaihe wa sallam) that they told people that if they found any hadith which were more sound and which contradicted their findings then to disregard their findings and follow the truth in that particular matter. As most of us know, The four madhabs came into existence many many years after the Prophet (Sallallahu 'alahi wa sallam) and his beloved Companions left this world. Some people say that you can only follow One madhab and stick to it so we say to them "what happened BEFORE the madhabs came into existence?" Are all the people condemned to Hell for not following strictly one particular madhab? The Four Imams did not hold people to a strict invented law, on the contrary, they were Muslims in the truest sense. I noticed in Ramadhan, when I went to a Masjid where the Imam is of the Shafi madhab, when it came to time for Witre Salah, most, but not all of the Hanafis got up and went to another room to pray their Witre. This is because of ignorance of the Teachings of Islam. If you read the biographies of the Imams then you'll see that they knew one another and there is an instance where Imam Shafi (Rehmat Allah 'alaih) prayed Salah the Hanafi way when he went to a masjid near to the grave of Imam Abu Hanifa (Rehmat Allah 'alaih) because of his respect for him.
If two brothers, one Hanafi and the other Shafi were in a situation when it was time for Asr, The Shafi brother prays his Asr Salah, but the Hanafi brother says it is not time for Asr for him, is this right? Say that the Hanafi brother also prayed his Salah at the same time, do you think that Allah will not accept his Salah because "it was not the Hanafi time" and his salah will be rejected?..It does not seem to be correct, there are hadith which report different things about certain situations, does this not show that Islam tolerates diversity as long as it can be traced back to the time of the Prophet (Sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam)? in Sahih hadith?
Having seen all this which is quoted directly from the so called “SAHIHS”, is there any sense in turning a blind eye and cover up what injustice is meted out against Islam, the Messenger of Allah, the Holy Qur’an, the Sharia and the Ahlul-Bayt a.s?
If these “SAHIHS” can accuse the prophets and messengers of Allah as liars and talk unthinkable obscene things, then what is there to complain about their attitude towards the Household or the Ahlul-Bayt (a.s.) of the Holy Prophet (pbuhf)!
Muslims need to think very seriously and ask themselves if the type of Islam they have got and the one they are following is true Islam and what are its sources.
It is through such traditions that the Muslim Aimmas (Abu Hanifa, Imam Maliki, etc) have derived their fatawas and tried to guide the Muslim Ummah.
No wonder why did the Messenger of Allah warned us about Muslims dividing into 73 sects and only ONE will go to Jannat and the remaining will be thrown into the hell fire.
Listen to his March 3, 2004 Jumu'ah Khutba on the importance of loving the Ahlul Bayt (as) and see for yourself what all the "controversy" is about.
